Every child is an artist

Every child is an artist the problem is staying an artist when you grow up
—Pablo Picasso

Picasso Quote

All children, whether we realize it or not, are artists in some way. This is an image I keep pinned on my wall at my office and this quote couldn’t be more true. I find it to be a challenge at times even for myself balancing my daily responsibilities with work, family, etc and maintaining time to create artwork. If you are a creative person, it is very important to not let your artwork and creativity get away from you. It is a difficult challenge, but one that I gladly accept.

I like that! Think i may print and post that here at my studio spot as well. Currently what I am going thro, is the decision to quit my job, and to once again focus on art. Everyone tells me I should, and that I could make it. But that fear of being almost 30, no real job or income, and the fear of failing scares the shit outta me. But my heart tells me its all worth it. We shall see what the next few months hold, hopefully I can keep the artist alive.

Glad to see the artist in yourself coming out in customs. Keep it up and thanks for sharing.

The stuff you are cranking out right now has been amazing! If you are able to pull down a ton of commissions I could see you making it. It definitely would be a scary thing not having a job or a steady income to fall back on.

This is another image I keep on my wall. A quote from Jim Jarmusch, http://i42.tinypic.com/6z8wlv.jpg
